It’s no secret that students experience special traditions and milestones each year during their time at LCA. Whether they’re participating in a grade level-specific activity, or marveling at teachers’ costumes and creativity during an all-school transformation day, the days at LCA are filled with joy, magic, and unique learning opportunities not found at many other schools.

This is especially true for our middle school students as they work diligently to incorporate components of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program into projects and assignments in and out of a traditional classroom environment. By exposing students to things like entrepreneurship, public speaking, business skills, teamwork, collaboration, and more, we are helping them to set the foundation for success not only in high school, but well beyond into college and their professional lives.

Transformation days are some of the most exciting days at LCA! On these special surprise days, students arrive at school to a completely reimagined campus based on a fun theme. Teachers showcase their creativity by converting their classrooms and planning all lessons and activities for the day to match the theme.
