In 2009, LCA received full accreditation from the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association. In fact, the leader of the external accreditation team said,

“Based on my review of your test scores, my observation of your classes, and my interviews with your teachers, I truly believe that Lakewood Catholic Academy ranks as one of the best schools in the State of Ohio.”

Students in grades K-6 attend all core subject classes and enrichment programs.

Academic Achievements:

Achievement tests are administered annually—students in 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th grade take the Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT). The Iowa Test of Basic Skills is administered to all students. Our students consistently achieve scores in the top 10% of all subject areas both regionally & nationally. LCA provides opportunities for students to participate in academic competitions throughout the region. Recent opportunities include:
