LCA offers tuition assistance
LCA is pleased to offer need-based tuition assistance to parents with children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Sources of tuition assistance are the Cleveland Diocese (DTA) and Lakewood Catholic Academy. Families seeking need-based tuition assistance from the Diocese of Cleveland or the LCA Financial Aid Fund are required to submit a completed financial assistance form through SmartAid. LCA does not see families’ private financial information, only an analysis of need.
When is the deadline for applying for financial aid?
The initial deadline is March 1st. While applications will be accepted until June 1st, it is possible that the available pool of funds will be fully allocated to those who have filed by the March 1st deadline. Families are strongly urged to file by March 1st.
When will I be notified of my award?
If you submit your form by March 1, 2017, you will receive notification by the end of May about any funding you may receive from the Diocesan fund and/or LCA.
LCA also participates as a provider for the Ohio Department of Education EdChoice & EdChoice Scholarship Expansion programs for tuition assistance. Families who wish to apply for the EdChoice program must first be approved for admission to LCA.
