Applying to Lakewood Catholic Academy

Application Process and Timeline
Re-Registration for Current Families
The admissions calendar begins with re-enrollment for
families who currently have children at Lakewood Catholic
Academy. Current families are first asked to declare in
November whether they plan to enroll any additional family
members in the early childhood or Kindergarten classrooms for
the following year. During the month of January, current
families are required to submit re-enrollment forms for the
following year. These families have priority for both the
re-enrollment of current students as well as new student
registration. Re-enrollment forms are due to the Main Office by
Friday, January 27, 2011. Please note that current families who
do not complete their re-enrollment forms by this deadline lose
their first priority for enrollment.
Enrollment for New Families
Lakewood Catholic
Academy reserves the right to admit students based on its
stated enrollment priorities which are detailed on our
Admissions Policies page.
Prospective families will be asked to complete a simple
application prior to the beginning of open enrollment. The
application is available throughout the year.
Click here to download and print an
application form. Please note that there is no fee to
submit the application form, and it does not represent a
commitment on your part to attend Lakewood Catholic Academy.
The completed application can be dropped off at the Main
Office, mailed to the school at 14808 Lake Avenue, Lakewood, OH
44107, or faxed to 216.521.0515. Applications can also be
scanned and sent as a PDF file to the Director of Admissions at
pnickels@lakewoodcatholicacademy.com.
For the first round of open admissions,
application forms must be completed and returned to school by
Wednesday, February 1. The Admissions Committee reviews the
applications; letters of acceptance, along with registration
packets, will be mailed out by Wednesday, February 8. Accepted
candidates will have until Wednesday, February 15 to return
their registration materials and deposit checks.
After that date, admissions will open to the general
public on a first-come, first-served basis.
