Campus & Facilities

Lakewood Catholic Academy is located on a nine-acre campus
along the shores of Lake Erie in the center of Lakewood, easily
accessible to communities across the West Shore area.
The campus offers outstanding amenities, including spacious
classrooms, a large gymnasium with a full stage, a cafeteria and
kitchen where a daily hot lunch program is prepared and served,
a large library, a science laboratory, and a computer
laboratory. There is additional dedicated space for both
general music education and instrumental performance as well as
art education. A lovely chapel is available for class-level Masses, prayer
services, and reconciliation.

The Outdoor Experience

May Crowning ceremonies at the
lakeside Grotto, which dates to the late 1800's.
In addition to its campus buildings, the land on which LCA is
situated is extraordinary and adds significantly to the student
experience. A spacious "back yard" includes a
Grotto dedicated to the Virgin Mary and an outdoor classroom
space designed and build by LCA parents and faculty. The fenced
space lies directly next to Lake Erie, and is an endlessly
fascinating environment for children to engage in physical
activity.
