A Note of Thanks for Your Support from SSO…
As we begin to wind down another school year, the SSO Board
would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your kind
support this year. Through your generosity, SSO has been
able to provide over $11,000 in support to our faculty in the
form of Back-to-School supply funds, Christmas gifts, Tasty
Tuesdays and Teacher Appreciation Week activities; fund popular
events like Grandparents, Day Daybreak with Dad, Morning with
Mom and the Adult Social; and provide $1,750 in funding for

In addition, SSO expects to have a budget surplus.
The SSO President, Gina Gibson, will meet with Principal
Fletcher to identify how these funds can best support LCA and

SSO 2012-13 Meeting Schedule
The Saints Service Organization holds regular
monthly meetings on the final Tuesday of the month,
beginning at 7 p.m. in the Teacher's Lounge.
All are welcome to attend! The 2012-13 meeting
dates include the following:

SSO Programs/Events for 2012-2013
The Saints Service Organization (SSO) encompasses many different volunteer opportunities
available at LCA including activities in the classroom, family
events, and ongoing programs that benefit our students.
There will be more than 30 different programs and events
that offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities that are
designed to fit our families’ busy schedules.
SSO will hold two fundraisers for
this upcoming school year.
On Sunday, October 7, LCA’s “Run for Excellence”
will be held.
On Saturday, March 9, SSO will present "Night at the
events will help fund student and parent activities along with
support for faculty and staff.
We ask for your support of these events as they are SSO’s
only fundraising activities this year.
The mission of the SSO is to:
Serve the LCA community through
volunteer and limited fund raising efforts;
Ensure efficient coordination of
activities that benefit LCA;
Build relationships within the LCA
community to enhance the Catholic education experience.
