Lacrosse

General Information

Lakewood Catholic Academy is proud to offer Lacrosse as a sporting choice. No prior experience is required. The sport is open to boys in grades five through eight.  Look for information to come home with students early in spring.

Practices

• Current physical must be on file before participation

• Regular season practices begin mid-March

• Teams practice 3 hrs per week

Uniforms

• LCA will provide shorts, t-shirt, and reversible jersey to all players for practice

• LCA will provide game jersey and shorts to players

• LCA will provide helmet 

• All players will purchase their own gloves, protective pads, and stick.

Events

• The season runs from the end of March through the end of May – games are played on mostly on Saturday; two games usually are played on same day. 

• Location and dates of games depend on the opponents.
