With over 100 team members on the cross country team this season we had many individual and team accomplishments to celebrate.

The 2008 cross country season concluded Saturday, October 18th at the CYO Championship meet held at the campus of Notre Dame Elementary School in Chardon.

Our boys and girls varsity squads performed well with this being the final cross country event for our 8th grade members... Stephen Burtzlaff, Jake Derethik, Dylan Dombroski, Colleen Hyland, Mary Kay Klenkar, Harry Kormos, Emma Napolitan, Conor O'Sullivan, Eliot Pacella, Tess Ryan, Amanda Sacha, Louis Stergar, and Helen Steve.

The LCA boys cadet squad won the first place trophy with a team score of 53. Top finishers were Luke Wagner in 1st place, Tim Trentel in 5th place, Jack Larsen in 14th place, Stephen O'Sullivan in 18th place and Shawn Gaspar in 20th place. Eddie Patton and Patrick McGuire also competed on this squad.

The cadet girls squad placed 3rd lead by Avery Pacella in 6th place, Nadia Vovk in 15th place, Maggie Wagner in 19th place, Bina Frost in 36th place and Alana Vovk in 66th place. Additional squad members were Sarah Klenkar and Katie Butterfield.

The entire cross country team will celebrate it's 2008 season at our annual banquet on November 12th.
