Door Tours – Sharing the LCA Story

This year, we began offering a special behind the scenes look at LCA to friends and community partners on the third Tuesday of each month.  Over the course of the school year, we introduced dozens of people to our wonderful school!  Many thanks to our Board members, parents, and staff who have personally invited friends, family, and colleagues to visit LCA.   Our visitors came away from the tour with an appreciation for our new model of Catholic elementary education and rave reviews about their experience. 

Our new friends include leaders from Lakewood City Schools, Lakewood Library, Magnificat High School, and St. Ignatius High School.  We are grateful for the interest of leaders from Greater Cleveland’s legal, financial, business, and foundation communities who also participated in our tours.  The tours provided a great opportunity to share the LCA story with those who have an interest in Catholic elementary education and many new partnerships with tour attendees have already begun!  The tours will resume in September and we welcome your participation!

All Saints Auction to Debut on November 6

A new twist on a tradition debuts at LCA on November 6!  Our spring auction event moves to the fall and takes on a new look!  November is the month of the saints, and, as the LCA Saints, we plan to celebrate and honor a different group of saints each year!  On November 6, 2010, we will celebrate the Saints of Italy with décor, food, and activities reminiscent of the country who blessed us with St. Francis of Assisi, St. Angela, and more!  Save the date for this fun event which will offer something for everyone and provide unique items and experiences…just in time for holiday shopping!   All proceeds from the All Saints Auction will support LCA’s great programs, faculty, students, and campus!

The committee is forming now and will begin planning on a limited basis this summer.  Please contact Mary Ann Campbell if you are interested in getting involved!
