Tuition at Lakewood Catholic Academy

At Lakewood Catholic Academy, we strive to keep tuition as affordable as possible, through careful management of our funds and through various fundraising programs, including an Annual Fund, a springtime special event fundraiser, and on-going support from our three founding parishes for their parishioners who attend LCA. We understand that our families are making a sacrifice to send their children to the school, and will work with families in a variety of ways to help them come to and remain in school. We have built into the budget dollars that will be used for families with financial need.

Families are encouraged to seek financial aid if they need assistance in attending our school.  If you wish to apply for assistance, we ask you to begin that process by completing the PSAS (Private School Aid Service) form.  The PSAS form is the starting point for all financial aid - no aid, whether it be from the Diocesan Tuition Assistance Grants Fund or LCA's own financial aid fund, can be awarded without filing the PSAS form. Contact the Main Office to obtain a copy of the form.

Please know that these forms are NOT reviewed by LCA itself, but by an independent reviewer who then makes recommendations to the Diocese on the distribution of aid.  The forms are 100 percent confidential. Last year, there were 10,821 applicants for Diocesan tuition grants, and more than 29 percent of applicants received awards totaling $1.72 million.

Catholic education is a very special gift that we give to our children.   We are working very hard to assure that no one is turned away because of an inability to pay.  We are educating the community leaders of tomorrow!  If you have need, please come forward and we will work hard with you to keep you with us!

Thanks to each and every one of you who passes on a vacation, skips a meal out, or drives a car for a year or two longer to make the sacrifice to obtain a Catholic education for your children.

Parishioner Tuition:

Families who are enrolled as members of Lakewood Catholic Academy's founding parishes - St. Clement, St. James, and St. Luke - benefit from an annual parish subsidy to LCA, and thus pay a different tuition than non-members. A parishioner is defined as a family who is registered at one of the three churches, attends Mass, and supports the parish financially.

Each pastor follows his own procedure for certifying families for the parishioner tuition rate. Families who seek the parishioner tuition rate must contact their parish rectory directly to obtain the certificate, which must then be submitted to the school to obtain parishioner tuition. This must be done each year.

The parishioner tuition costs for grades Kindergarten through Eight are as follows:
