A wise person once said that many hands make for light
work. Parent
involvement through volunteerism is crucial to the success
of operating Lakewood Catholic Academy.
It is a part of the ministry that each parent commits
to in enrolling their child in a Catholic School.
Volunteer help enables us to provide our children with
enrichment programs at minimal expense, as well as to
provide funds to support and finance the operation of LCA
and, through the Bingo program, to make needed capital
improvements to our campus.
A strong volunteer program helps keep an LCA
education affordable to all families in the community who
seek it for their children.
Many Ways to Help
Parents who are interested in volunteering for Lakewood
Catholic Academy have a wide selection of opportunities to
choose from, and can tailor their volunteer commitment to
match their schedules. Various opportunities are available
during the daytime, the evening, and on weekends.
Saints Service Organization Activities
The Saints Service Organization is LCA's parent volunteer
organization and offers a wide range of volunteer
possibilities for LCA parents. SSO volunteers can choose
between daytime, weekend, and evening activities.
